#9 Locate some Marketing blogs
I used the google reader to locate some marketing blogs. I useed the add a subscription tool and searched for "marketing research". I then added the Journal of Marketing Research-AMA blog. Then I can see all the important upcoming events organized by AMA. It was a great experience and made me realize how many things I have missed without using this tool ealier.
#8 Learn about RSS feed
Yes, I saw those little icons before but I did not know that it stands for "Really Simple Syndication". I added Peter's blog of Monash 23 things to my google reader. It is really cool. I think it would help to filter the huge volume of information available online these days. But the challenge is how to use the tool wisely.
#7 Blog about Technology
The Internet and related technology have changed our way of teaching and learning in a fundamental way. As teachers, we can utilize a lot of multi-media tools to deliver our materials to students. By doing so, teaching and learning become more enjoyable and effective. For example, I often looked for interesting videos from Youtube to use in my lectures. I did this by put a hyperlink on the slides and played the video by simply clicking the hyperlink. I got the impression that one can find anything on Youtube. Another Internet webside I use often is wikipedia. Whenever I wanted a simple yet accurate answer to my questions, I went to wikipedia to get it.
#6 Some Flickr Fun
I tried the Flickr Color Pickr. It is really fun to pull a bunch of pictures with the same color by a single click.
#22 experiencing screenr.com
My impression of Youtube is that one can find everything on it. But I never uploaded anything on Youtube. I just tried Screenr and fell in love right away. It is definitely a cool tool to create a video of the computer screen.
Here is the URL to the very first video I ever created,

#5 Experiencing Flickr

I saw Flickr for the first time when I was searching for some used furnitures on Monash Market Place. I did not realize that it was associated with Yahoo! until I started to experience it in Monash 23 things.
I created an acount could Bluemelbourne and posted 3 photos from my computer. What impressed me most is the speed of photo uploading. It is really fast!
The first photo I upload is a green Nike hat. Here is the link, http://www.flickr.com/photos/45089609@N04/4142485775/

Try to catch up
Am I already an old dog ? I do not really know what to write on this new platform. (Stopped here and went to get some water...). I have something to write now:
I just saw a fellow hangs a notice in Chinese on his door. Those characters are fine. But it reminds me of an American professor presented his stuff with some Chinese characters on his slides a while ago in Monash. It was hilarious. Some interpretations of those Chinese Idiom were really wrong and funny. Well, I must have made tons of similiar mistakes when I was struggling with English.
